Our history
Countless hours have been spent on site hand-counting materials for list adjustments. These experiences have created a keen eye on developing strong, field-friendly material lists.
Our Mission
To provide the most complete and most accurate material lists to our customers. Lists that can be shared with the framing crews to help minimize waste and costly time waiting for correct materials.
BuildSense keeps in contact with the following sources:
Manufacturers - so we are current on materials and their installation method and auxiliary products needed for proper installation. Training from the manufacturers is key to everyone's success so the more knowledge the better we all perform.
Wholesale Distributors - allows us to have a good feel for what products are available in a given market.
Building Supply Companies - gives us feedback on what adjustments they are seeing back and forth from the material list to what is being used. Our calculations are adjusted as needed based on this feedback
Truss and Panel manufacturers - more and more builders are switching to prebuilt components - we like to keep up with what materials they are including or excluding from their packages so we can hopefully eliminate any gaps or overlaps in materials
Field Personnel - Project Managers / Estimators / Salespeople / Subcontractors - their input also gives us the information we need to adjust our procedures so your count calculations are always based on current installation methods
